- Frankfurt Book Fair 2010, 5th-10th October 2010 | Lanyrd Not an unbiased study, but I did think at ToC that Frankfurt is a bad place for a tech conference because it's mostly editors, agents and rights people who go, not marketing, digital, distribution etc. people. Lanyrd's share of the 250k+ attendees would seem to confirm this.

- The periodic review of ideas | Flickr Amazon doing really interesting things with the Kindle bookmarking system. Looks like they plan to remind you about books you've read and marks you've made after a certain period. Would really like to know who's designing this stuff at Amazon. Anyone?
