Stop Press for March 29th

March 30, 2010

  • Maps, Books and Spimes Panel Podcast Our SXSW panel as an mp3 (direct link).
  • Glasshouse Books | ABOUT The digital frontlist. An interesting proposition, with much to recommend it, slightly ruined by hideous flash interface.
  • MoMA | @ at MoMA "The acquisition of @ takes one more step. It relies on the assumption that physical possession of an object as a requirement for an acquisition is no longer necessary, and therefore it sets curators free to tag the world and acknowledge things that “cannot be had”—because they are too big … or because they are in the air and belong to everybody and to no one."
  • The Good Man Jesus and the Scoundrel Christ | Enhanced Editions Excellent stuff from EE with exclusive content and simultaneous release with the (controversial and much-publicised) hardback book: as it should be done.
  • YouTube – The Future of Publishing – created by DK (UK) A clever video, and I'm glad DK used it at their sales conference. Releasing it to the world seems a little premature however.
