  • The 26th Story: Why I can Never be Unfaithful to my Books – There’s a lovely idea here, of books accruing layers of meaning through scribbled annotations and printouts from Wikipedia. However, it then segues into a bizarre attack on ereaders. Surely a properly constructed ereader allows for and indeed facilitates such networking?
  • Frankfurt book fair seeks hope in Web’s embrace | Reuters – “Forty percent of the 1,000 industry professionals from more than 30 countries who responded to the survey believed e-content would overtake traditional book sales by 2018 — although one third of respondents predicted this would never happen.” Frankfurt talks about it being time to embrace digital. Again. Would be nice to see some action.
