Reading Hegel has always been a lot like trying to explore rural Sudan. Without a very experienced guide, a lot of preparation, and maybe some serious armament, you’re going to run into trouble really soon. To me it actually looks like the reader is doing well, for someone who just sets off on their own. Just to reach page 89 is a very good sign. Maybe he/she has some philosophy under her/his belt already?

I’m suitably awed that this fine blog would mention my bumbling through Hegel. Many thanks! Once you get past the dialectic and human experience part, the logic is good fun! One has to be prepared for a heck of a lot of reading without knowledge (though, strangely enough, it isn’t uncommon to have your unconcious pipe in with some result after the conscious mind has been lulled into a zen state by hypersyllabification.) Would appreciate knowing more about how bkkeepr fits together with my LibraryThing account. Cheers!

@Thom – If you’re logged in to LibraryThing, clicking “+ Add to LibraryThing” on the book page will add the book to your LT account. Also, any of the little “+”s next to the timestamps on your personal page will do the same thing.
Should probably make that a bit clearer on the site…
