- The Bookseller : Future fiction – The irony of presenting Cory Doctorow’s imaginative story of a bookshop for the next 150 years in vile flash-magazine format is not lost on us. Still, definitely woth a read.
- Marian Bantjes: faber finds borders – “Faber books in the UK contacted me about this new project that they were doing creating one-off, on-demand books. For this they were going to have a computer program generate unique covers based on border patterns that I would make.” Lovely.
- Build: Faber Finds – Faber’s new POD imprint has it’s own typeface, the nattily-titled ‘B-HMMD’. Not sold on the 3-4 week order period, but I like these covers.
- Penguin Design Award – I particularly like Anna Moseeva’s palimpsest of place names – definitely the most original entry.
