Regarding Scribd, keep in mind that it also shares the challenges of YouTube, especially when it comes to IP rights and ownership. In fact, there are loads of documents on Scribd right now that are being illegally re-distributed through their site. I’m speaking as a publisher, so naturally I’m not a fan of this…but anyone who values intellectual property rights should be equally disturbed by it.
