- Lost – Book Club – ABC.com – I’ve never watched Lost, but I appreciate it’s cross-media adventuring, and anything that got people reading Flann O’Brien and Huxley’s ‘Island’ is fine by me.
- JK Rowling says no to age banding on children’s books [Guardian] – JK comes out against age banding. I have to agree – telling kids what age to read stuff, cramps their style – but there may be other and better ways to gauge ‘reading age’ and encourage reading.
- Succour – The Journal of New Fiction and Poetry – … are holding a salon at the Poetry Cafe on Saturday 5th. Worth checking out.
- The Penguin Blog: Special Guest Post – Nick Hornby on ebooks – Jeremy gets excited, and Mr Hornby bemoans the current status of reading, let alone reading on ereaders.
