- Cormac McCarthy’s ‘The Road’ comes to the big screen. – Not normally a fan of adaptations, this certainly looks like director John Hillcoat has nailed the look of the book. Plus it has Omar from The Wire in it (that’s for Peter).

Thanks. I already saw something a few weeks ago, I think in the NYT. And didn’t I tell you that (namedrop) Seamus has a photo of me talking to John Hillcoat at one of his parties. Apparently. I don’t remember a thing….. anyway – thanks for the, um, re-up.
